Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how J&Z Solutions LLC (“Inspectoma,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Inspectoma mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Inspectoma is a tool for property inspection professionals to create reports, capture photos, manage clients, and bill for their work.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Name, email address, phone number, business name, and password when you create an account.
- Inspection content. Reports, findings, notes, photos, annotations, signatures, and property details you create or upload through the Service.
- Client and contact data. Names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers of clients you add to manage inspections and billing.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we receive limited transaction and billing details to operate the Service.
- Photos and camera. With your permission, the app accesses your camera and photo library so you can attach images to inspections. Images are stored only as part of your inspection data.
- Location and property addresses. Property addresses you enter, and, if you grant permission, device location used to help fill in inspection locations.
- Usage and device data. App version, device type, operating system, log data, and diagnostic information used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Communications. Messages you send us (for example, support requests sent to support@inspectoma.com).
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and operate the Service and your account.
- Generate and deliver inspection reports, invoices, and related communications (email and SMS) on your behalf.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Secure the Service, debug issues, and improve features.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Service providers. Cloud hosting, payment processing (Stripe), and email/SMS delivery providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
- People you choose. Recipients of inspection reports, invoices, or messages you send through the Service (for example, your clients).
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inspectoma, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@inspectoma.com.
Account deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app (Settings → Account) or by emailing support@inspectoma.com. We will confirm and process your request as described in “Data Retention” above.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
